Welcome to January in the Sebago Lakes region where the temperatures are frigid and we finally got snow!! ❄️🤔

• Ice Fishing: Ah, ice fishing—where you can enjoy the thrill of sitting in a cozy hut on a frozen lake, waiting for a fish to bite. 🎣❄️ Just remember to bring a warm blanket, because nothing says “living the dream” like a chilly backside!

• Winter Festivals: Local festivals are a fun way to embrace the winter chill while watching fun ice sculpture events. 🥶⛄️ There’s something magical about sipping on hot cocoa while admiring the creativity of folks carving ice—just don’t forget your gloves!

• Wildlife Viewing: While you’re bundled up against the cold, you might spot a bald eagle soaring overhead. 🦅 Just try not to feel too jealous as it gracefully glides by, free from the winter layers you’re currently sporting.
